It's quiet. People seem to be afraid to be the first one to post.
We get a *lot* of traffic, if you look at the views, and even going through the logs and eliminating robots and web crawlers, we get a good deal of traffic. Actually, for a site like this, we get a lot of traffic. We had only 40 members a week ago, but thousands of hits to the message threads.
I'm hoping people will start to post, rather than just read.
Percentage wise, this site gets more traffic than the http://beadbanter.com site. And, that site had a record day last december, with over 300 unique guests logged in during one 15 minute scan.
All this, and virtually no ads :)
For me, the epitome of bead hell is trying to read a message board between advertising, banners, flash, shockwave, and all sorts of other annoyances, including those delay screens on Yahoo.
