Is this an alternative to beadwork@about? Can't Post

Madthat forum at about.com is a total joke. I am hoping to find kindred souls here, who don't expect me to have the same viewpoint as they do. 'cuz let me tell you, I am definitely persona non grata at the other. Looking forward to hearing from someone, anyone! email thru the forum.

this is my latest project. Made this for daughter, hence the name. Any other 2-needle beadweavers out there?

That is pretty ... in pink.

Looks like it was well roasted here in in the flames ... nearly done. When it turns a lovely shade of red (or crispy brown) it will be done ;)

Welcome to bead hell!

I think the forums on bac _are_ hell :) No freedom of speech, no tolerance of others. If you don't think as they do, run for the hills!

And their views on "copyright" <gag> are not based in reality. Too bad for all the people who read the posts and think they are learning something! We've been dealing with copyrights for almost 20 years on-line (a solid 13-14 without contest). Mostly image and graphic copyrights. And, while your WORK and IMAGE are protected, making the same item isn't.

So, go ahead LOOK at my work, tell me how great it is, and then *TRY* to do it yourself :)

This is bead hell..... after all :)

for a "normal" forum, with less hawk(ads) and more talk, visit http://beadbanter.com which is our main beading forum.

Not everyone can be in Bead Hell forever .......... (unless they refuse to leave the bac boards!)

<groan>

I'd move that to the 2nd level of bead hell .....

Why start something like that? Pirate It was an original 'troll' post, and she is a troll.

As for the Way Back Machine, all it does is archive, "as is" what "was". It's really cool, and I like looking at how my own sites changed over the years.

Bead Hell is a special place. :) Lots of toasty little beads, (too bad they don't burst into popcorn), and a "friendly" environment to roast the heck out of those who deserve it Wink

My real gripe with adc is all the ads! I spent a lot of time, and a bunch of clicks trying to find the "forum" link this time!

I always had an issue with unrelated topics -- like piercings, tattoos, sex, religion -- appearing on the log on screens, or entry pages.

We run a *lot* of different sites, but don't put anything off-topic on each site. *I'm* offended by their screens, and that takes a lot <G> (really, a LOT!) It's just in bad taste.
