Your right to NOT be deleted for your opinions. Can't Post

All my posts were deleted from Jewelrymaking.About.com because I resented a message that accused me of being someone else. The forum administrator took a hissy fit, and made me disappear. Her message to me was short, to the point, ,and I could see her stomping her foot, holding her breath, and saying "IT'S MINE!" <sigh>

But with that, went a lot of good information, and dozens of hours of time to post and come up with the messages.

So, I will be reposting them here, some of them, and posting the others (and maybe the same ones) in the http://beadbanter.com forum.

At some point, the dam will break, and someone will post a reply, and life will begin. :)

I don't give up easily, and I don't use my position to "SILENCE" the voices that don't agree with me. I may not like what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it! They used to teach that in school. Do they any more?

Just make sure what you say is not really immoral, illegal, or simply for the purposes of causing trouble. In pornography, that usually means something like no children, animals or insertions. Everything else is pretty OK. I don't think there is a simple statement for the rest of life, that encompasses what you can and can't say, but drug dealing would be a "moral" issue that has legal ramifications. The rules are not the same everywhere, so I have to us a "General Community Standard" for the United States as a guide -- but only a GUIDE. Individual rights do exist, and are protected.

So, don't worry about saying something, then finding out the reason no one replied is that your post was deleted, or turned invisible to everyone but you! That won't happen here.

Strong opinions are encouraged, especially when backed up with facts, experiences, or other information to support it. People are allowed to disagree, but they are also allowed to take their gloves off and beat each other up to get their point across. But remember, if you take a swing at someone, I'll defend their right -- or the rights of others -- to swing back.
