Yep. That is what the headline read.
Colorful beads lead to court.
Here's the article.
A 9 year old girl was persecuted in school, and prevented from wearing a red white and blue beaded necklace to honor the troops and her relatives fighting overseas, because they were considered "gang" colors.
Ok. Now our soldier boys are "gangs" and our flag nothing more than a gang logo!!
I've had enough. Totally sick of this.
We've all let it go toooooooooooo...ooooo far.
When do we take our country back from stupid law makers, and evil dogooders, and misguided sociopaths we've put in charge of our lives and our children!
Red, white and blue are now GANG COLORS!!!
We've mad patriotism a bad thing? Are we going to allow Iraq to become another Viet nam!! NO!!!!!!!!
Damn these people to hell -- real HELL!!!
I remember the Viet Nam era, the body counts every day on AM TV. The way the country turned on the troops who were just following the orders of the generals and politicians. They had no choice. WE had the choice to bring them home and PROSECUTE the officials who sent them there -- as we should be doing now!
Our kids are dying over there -- for what???? Someones OIL (Operation Iraqui Liberation -- O.I.L)! And yet supporting those poor kids by wearing the colors of OUR COUNTRY and IT'S FLAG is considered GANG WEAR!
Something is wrong. Really, very wrong.
Let this school board know how you feel! Write them! Write them ALL!!
Maybe your school will be next.
